Dinnertime?

I’ll take this place at the head of the table. Why can’t my chair be higher? What do you mean that I have to get down?

Don’t you know who I am? I am Xenia empress of all she surveys; how dare you try to scat me!

What’s for dinner? Salad! Of course I’m not interested…I’ll retire to the kitchen with my seneschal the dog. Canned food? Oh all right if we must.

( it’s sooooo hard to recruit capable domestics these days!)

One Reply to “Dinnertime?”

  1. Salad isn’t right for cats, or dogs. However, my dog will take any food given to him. I have to be careful, he is wheat intolerant, and a lot of human food is not good for them. So he is banned from the kitchen while anyone is cooking.
