As a carver I’ve been interested in creating free form bowls that retain the character of the tree from which they came. I primarily create small bowls in cherry, but I also work in birch, maple and other woods as I find pieces that attract my attention. Recently my bowl carving has featured locally sourced cherry from Central Massachusetts.
