Commentary

The posts here are my commentaries on years of carving. I like to discuss faults and shortcomings as well as victories. This is in line with a philosophy that supports the idea that, as Bill Gates said: “Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can’t lose.” I also spend time with the masters, different approaches to carving, and ways of conceptualizing what a carver does.
