The grocery store is more than groceries. It’s carts clashing, eyes avoiding contact, glares, stares, and contact with friendly people. You miss half of it if you only shop!

Lol. He does send me photos, especially when shopping at Costco. Mostly asking if I want or don’t want something.
I don’t do that any more. I found I save at least an hour if I just go pick up my stuff. ๐
You are missing all the fun, not to mention the drama of what happens when you smile at someone who is trying to avoid looking at you. I love to say “excuse me” and slip past people who are hogging the aisle.
Damn, woman! It’s fun to wave at the little kids, and see the mother start worrying about whether you are a grandpa or a creep. Cheap thrills!
That’s the thing about living here. Everyone is friendly. Tomorrow I’m posting about the flag I wear and the consequences to me in this valley resulting from it. It also makes it a little hard to be sinister — until, apparently, people know me. Then I scare (some) people.
