  • This first one is strangely timely.Its from an early disinformation campaign discouraging immunization against small pox. See idiocy has no time period!
  • The Banjo cutting board is a favorite product of mine. It’s design goes back to Colonial times, and its very practical.
  • This was an interesting public art installation in Concord, Massachusetts.
  • The very start of carving a small schooner.
  • this nautical figure was in the Sherbourne Museum in Vermont.
  • My favorite small bowls. carves from cherrywood burls found in the wood pile. I love the natural edges on them, and the grain patterns.
  • Heavy weather off Bearskin Neck in Rockport, Massachusetts.
  • I found a sisgn in Portland with this on it, and liked it so much that I started making them for customers.
  • The view off Portland Head in Maine.

  1. The banjo cutting board was ahead of its time. Reminds me of a pizza stone. Those cherry bowls are adorable, Lou–so many little trinkets to place inside them.
