Got an appointment with Destiny? Destiny, writ large on the horizon in big block letters- like the Hollywood sign? Or not in majuscule, but in tiny ones, and we miss their import until they trip us up because they don’t seem important enough to pay attention to. Not pretty or tasteful.
Life is not so much tied up in big things but those we don’t care to notice. But slowly, like grains of sand in a mechanism, they wear us down, bit by bit, to a stop.
