The old saw about “Man the Tool User” has been knocked about a bit in recent years as other contenders are found that regularly use tools, or make use of objects as tools. Here is our kitty Sabrina, who has attached the battery-powered rolling ball to her play box. It jerks around nicely.
It’s an interesting contraption, but now she wants a few more to add more power. A powered chariot for a cat? What’s next, taking her in for her driver’s test? NOOOooooo!

Cats love boxes, no matter what’s in them.
No box leaves the house until it is duly inspected.
We have one that likes to tear them to bits. A shock when I opened my closet door the first few times. Now I know better than to store stuff in cardboard.
We had one like that. Sabrina and Marcus just like to store toys in them and play.
