Oh those perky white flowers. I wnt some! Are they in your garden or in the wild? Your bowl is lovely as well.
They are the flowers of the bloodroot plant ( Sanguinaria) and are the earliest flowers that I have. When they bloom, I know that spring is actually coming.
Sanguinaria is a northern species. I’m not sure if they’d thrive where you are. Around here, they emerge very soon after the snow departs.
No snow here. I’ll have to enjoy them vicariously.

A lot of plank stock is cut for consistency. But for patterning in something like a bowl, something a bit wilder can be exciting.
