Judy’s Number Game – #72

And the Number is: 193

The Boarding plank has offered a number of suggestions for carving over the years. who the original carver was I don’t know, but they were skillful.

A batch of small cherry logs came into my possession. too small for large work, but too pretty for the wood stove, I sawed them into mini planks for a variety of uses,

The leaf boxes were a favorite experiment of some years ago.

This boat portrait I keep around the house as an object lesson in using the correct adhesives in gluing up stock for carving. A weak glue line caused the split.

A shot inside the pot as I temper by boiling a batch of spoons

For a post on knives, I lined up this shot of very well-used carvers’ knives.

Some of my wife’s air plants on a shelf.
