- My favorite bar sign!
- Hand-carved nautical stars, gold-leafed and set to serve as fridge magnets. A Christmas for a boat-building friend.
- A liniment sign at an antiques store.
- A batch of cherries is being washed before getting pitted.

You have to boil forever for them to become tender!
I’ll bet!! ha haha
I was puzzled, too, before finally reading the comment on my second viewing.
All my questions were answered once I found your descriptions, but the bar sign still puzzles me!
I shot the photo in Montreal a few years ago because it reminded me of another, more profane, bar sign.
What was the other one? Dare I ask?
I’m saving that for a future post…
