The ubiquity of junk plastic and other types of mass-produced junk has a lot to do with my daily trek ( about twelve feet from my door) to the shop. When I get the need, I can plow through a whole bunch of Cherry blanks. Cherry blanks that become spoons, spatulas, spreaders, salad forks, bowls and other items. These are not plastic, are food safe, and are durable.
