A few years ago, I had the temerity to “weed” my library. So out went books I’d never need again. Books on marlinspike, carving, painting, fiction, and magazines went.
Gradually I bought new titles for new interests. Then found that I needed the old stuff again.
Today I repurchased the book on marlinspike I had tossed. So now my library is two hundred volumes larger.
What was I thinking?
You and my husband…. Not me. I am hardcore. Gone? Gone. The End.
Oh yes, Louis. I don’t need them all back, but quite I few I regret letting go. Well done.
I recently gave over 300 books to charity. I’m not missing them – yet! Only time will tell.
My sixty-nine!
