It’s here—the Annual Festival of Wood. Convenient cords, half cords, and quarter cords are available for stacking. It’s great for upper body strength, tones the abs, and is an enchanting part of New England life with the crisp fall air. You could go leaf-peeping in quaint towns that don’t want you blocking their lanes and bylanes. Or you could be enyoing a classic New England Festival of Wood! Up until recently, we’ve kept this fall ritual a secret. We didn’t want the rush of over-eager stackers to ruin one of the truly unique aspects of A Genuine Yankee Fall.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but not everyone can stack wood to perfection. It’s like a game of Tetris or Jenga; stability is essential. But don’t worry about that! We offer free training with every quarter cord. It’s a great family activity.
Call now to reserve your wood. This is a limited-time offer.

When I first lived in the mountains in CA I had a wood stove. The tradition in Montana was you stack wood by the house. In CA in fire zone you don’t stack wood by the house but keep it as far from the house as possible. And, heating a house with that stuff, there was no point in stacking it. Live and learn all the time. 🤣
