The first is a pair of wedding dolls found in the Oldies Antique Marketplace in Newburyport, MA. The second is a shot of Portland Head Light. Number three is a carved figure of a sailor from the Peabody Essex Museum. Fourth is a carved cherry burl bowl. Number five is a small sign I carved. Six is the exterior of a building in the Arts District in Burlington, VT. Next is a carved representation of Kali as a ship’s figurehead. Following that is the very intellectual picture of Max trying on some reading glasses – don’t they add a bit of studiousness to him? After that is a rough out of an eagle’s head. Finish carving is done after the head is fastened to the body. Next is an early spring photo of the garden several years ago, and the final image is of confetti tossed in the air at a Saint’s Festival in Cambridge, MA.
