It’s a small TV station, folks. It comprises individual modules all stuck in a space the size of a walk-in closet. An oversized air conditioner keeps the heat of all those electronic units from roasting you to a crisp when you have to work in there. Believe me, you don’t want to have to work in there; it’s not exactly quiet.
Three channels, twenty-four hours of programming, all in one large closet. In the 1980s, the station would have been quadrupled in size, all analog and plug-and-play – little or no automation.
Soon, they’ll put it all in a large shoe box.
