And the number in Judy’s Game this week is 174:

The first photo is from my most favorite location to search for all sorts of inspiring goodies – The Oldies Marketplace In Newburyport, MA – if they don’t have it you won’t need it.
Then there is this interesting welded globe, which is meant to be a fire pit – for the person who wishes to set the world on fire!
Then we hacve a late PM scene in the summer – also Newburyport.
I had a number of aerial pumpkins this year they grew suspended, and only as they gained weight descended to the ground.
And of course my messy shop. Always remember a clean shop is a sign of mental illness – I am very sane!

I loved reading about your aerial pumpkins!
The Oldies Marketplace looks wonderful! As for your shop…I have a book, “A Perfectly Kept House is a Sign of a Misspent Life.” You’re good, Lou. It’s in the book! ๐
I think your shop looks very organized. In use, but not messy. You should see what my husband’s was like!!
I have that same storage case, by the way.. that I brought with me to Mexico. The one behind the painting.
That is actually a painted background on which I places a carving of a schooner. I then added a painted/carved series of waterlines in front to provide depth. Everyone thinks it is a painting until they get close. It actually started out exactly like the schooner carving to the left of it, but there was a major goof. Instead of tossing it I cut it up and made a new layered work.
I recognized the globe immediately for its intended use. Pedro and I have a fire pit that needs something like that, and we have been watching and waiting for the right metal contraption to come along. I noticed that your pumpkin with leaves and the fire pit look very similar in photographs.
I wish we could have afforded the globe for the fire pit. There a number of other designs too. I think that the garden center has a relationship with a metal worker. He took a 1950’s era sedan and carefully cut it into a lace like confection that looked like a car made out of metal lace.
I’ve seen your photo of the car! It is outstanding.
Yikes. I’m in trouble. I always clean my studio between projects… I’d better get something going or I’ll lose my mind, apparently, unless it’s too late.
There is still hope, Martha. Just practice leaving uncompleted stuff around. It makes it look like you are doing more.
