A quote that I live by? It’s complicated. It’s complicated by how I feel at the moment or day. When I’m feeling mellow and comptemplative I like the advice of Petty Officer first Class John O’toole ( the Tool to those who knew him well). He mentioned that:
โluck is what you stumble upon in life. Providence is what God plans for you, and planning is how you thread your way between the two without getting crushed.โย
But then if you get me so mad that the steam jets from my ears and my head seems to gyrate, I’ll introduce you to two of my other favorite quotes. The first is from that infamously misunderstood entrepreneur of stolen property – Blackbeard. He stated: “Let’s jump on board, and cut them to pieces“. My other favorite on this topic is from Voltaire: รcrasez l’infรขme (crush the loatsome thing). If you’ve bhaved in a loathsome way to me beware.
There are others. After all there are so many situations, and so many quotes to choose from!

I almost took on this prompt but then I thought, “All my quotes are on the sidebar of my blog.” I got nothing new. I like both Blackbeard’s and Voltaire’s quotes. Good call.
