OK, now that I have your attention, I’ll admit that it’s not the only quote that guides me. But it is one that I’ve seen validated widely in my career as a carver, videographer, and applied anthropologist. So it’s not merely a go-to quote for a single occasion.
It’s the little efforts that you build into larger achievements that yield the major successes.
Somehow I just couldn’t work the Word Of The Day, Fahrenheit, or the Rag Tag Daily Prompt, hummock, in. But wait!!!!! I just did!
Five prompts…even if I did cheat! See! Little things do add up.

It’s knowing what to plug away at for years or decades.
Very true.
This is something my mates and I discuss regularly. Basically, in the previous x thousand years, we have put all the building blocks in place, to get us 99% of the way there, technology-wise. And the last 100 years, where we have created such marvels like the iPhone, is just the icing on the cake.
