What? Do you think it’s easy to make sure that these birds take their turns at the feeder?
Those greedy sparrows spill the seed all over the place; the woodpeckers are so choosy, and then the darned squirrel shakes that tail in front of the dog, and it’s off to the races as he runs to the fence with the dog chasing him!
In the meantime, that darned finch stares right at me and dares me to try to chase him.
It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it!

You’re dauntless!
They are very professional! They spend hours perfecting their techniques,
Do you ever watch them at the feeder? Man, they are vicious!
I put seeds out all year round jst because I like to have them in the garden. I can’t make out the breeds any more but I see the movement.
I like to watch them too, but the cats sit there on the cat tree and watch by the hour; then the dog gets into it too. So it has a high amusement factor.
Mine fortunately just sleeps these days, but he’s an old noy. When my daughter visits, her dog often barks at the birds, but there again, you know how intelligent dogs are.
So Lovely. Thank You, Love, nia
