Little can compare to a rousing game of cat hockey. My gray cat Clancy (AKA the Grey Menace) introduced me to the sport. Clancy played cat hockey in the same rough-and-tumble style as the Maple Leafs and other Canadian teams of the sixties and seventies. Clancy was, of course, Canadian.
Cat hockey equipment can be acquired at any outfitter for cat sports. Small rubber or plastic balls are all you need – no elaborate pads or helmets. Cats like to keep things simple.
Watching a game of cat hockey may not be suitable for the overly sensitive. It is full of fouls, hooks, and noisy fights. Humans can find the game confusing. The players change the goal’s location throughout the game. Cats maintain this shows the vast superiority of the cat game over the version humans copied.
But being that serious injuries are rarely sustained, cat hockey is a sport that the entire family can enjoy.
A few notes:
1.) Clancy’s favorite hockey movie was Slapshot.
2.) In some areas where hockey is not as popular as in Canada and the USA, the uninitiated may call it cat soccer.

I would so follow this sport if you kept presenting it… lol… hugs
The kittens (the MassTigers) are looking to Purina and other cat food companies for endorsements. Sabrina is especially interested in making commercials. Marcus just sees himself in the classic roll of team “enforcer”.
Standby for further developments – a super bowl ad for a new league?
