Company

The garden is looking good. That’s my way of avoiding the question of who I spend the most time with. It’s not my night shift nurse, though. I am revving up in the morning while she is trying to settle into some peaceful sleep. So, while this shot of peonies, iris, and poppy blooming simultaneously is lovely, it evades the question of who I spend most of my time with other than when I am at work.
Here is a gallery of their portraits:

Of course, Sabrina is the chatty one, and boy, does she chat. Marcus likes to listen and carefully consider what you say, and Maxโ€ฆwell, Max likes to steal garbage, act innocent, steal cat food, and sleep in sunny locations.

Not a critical lot, except at dinner and breakfast times.

  1. Those three look like trouble and the garden peaceful.
I have started a new patch in my front yard. My neighbour is not fond of the wild look and wonโ€™t look me in the eye now. Some nasty creeps are also sabotaging the park re-wilding project and have voiced their displeasure by vandalising the new plantings and by emptying their bowels in the area we are currently restoring. I could blog about this but I may be concerned about possible repercussions.

    1. Lots of people seem to be short on civility, and respect for the rights of others. Because they are allowed to get away with it they feel empowered, justified OK with doing what ever the hell they wish.
My front yard is all flowers, perrenials and annual that liiks like a bit of a mess until it starts blooming – that’s where the photo is from. No one has dared to say anything to me…maybe because they’ve seen me practicing sword kata in the back????
