Bargain

As some locals say, it’s a wicked pissah of a good bargain. They toss me a fresh mackerel, and I stop screaming, harassing, and pooing on their gear. It’s a simple transaction, a fish for peace and quiet while they load up their catch.
I’m part of the tourist background for Motif Number One.

My ancestors and I have been participants in this little racket since the first fisherman showed up in the 1600s.

We are authentic Coastal New England! Got some fish?
