1.) Last summer, I needed some very small specialty tools. These are at least early 20th century and have had several owners. They are not made anymore!

5.) Part of an exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum several years ago featured some outstanding original costumes from old Sci-Fi movies.

Although I do not have your skill in the use of them, I, too, love tools–especially the ones that show how often they’ve been used. My most treasured possessions are my father’s hammer and axe. I also have all of my husband’s hand carving tools which I need to pass on to his son, who is visiting me now.
It’s always good to see tools have a multigenerational life. Besides, so much of the new stuff is junk!
