JUNGUE MAIL – stream of consciousness Saturday

My poor junk email folder. It’s been busting every day recently. Donald, J.D., and a host of “conservative” causes have recently started calling me friend, brother, fellow traveler, and such. I suspect that I must have pissed off someone badly, and they slipped my email address into one of Donald’s causes. Let’s see, I get Donald Crypto offers J.D.’s tangled reasoning and every sort of Christian bugaboo that assures me of grace eternal for supporting their pro-something causes – send money now!

I reside somewhere to the left of these fine people and their causes. So, I’m not about to pour any of my U.S. dollars into their causes. I do have some fake Confederate currency left over from when one of the kids was little. Maybe I could send that in, but since they oppose big government, I’m afraid I might offend them by using the Post Office.

I am also afraid that asking them to remove me from their lists might result in receiving more emails. I guess I’ll just have to report it as spam.

You know, calling this stuff SPAM insults the canned meat of the same name.

  1. Everyone, even those I will vote for keep asking for money. If they could see where and how I live, maybe they would leave me alone. ๐Ÿ™‚ I spend the first hour of my day deleting the beggars. I get nothing from the dark side. I think they know better.

    1. Actuially, Marlene, I think they rely a lot more than they’d like to admit on the 5,10 and 25 dollar amounts they get from small fry like us. I remember the Howard Dean campaign was built on those small contributions.
