I wonder how we are awash in information but so full of ignorance? Between the internet, streaming services, regular cable, radio, print, and good old-fashioned face-to-face communication, we are into conspiracy theories, misinformation, and old-fashioned stupidity like no time since the thirteen hundreds. After all, how do you keep them loyal when the world is gone, and the currency you pay them in is now useless? Even the dream worlds of the wealthy have issues.
It all seems petty. The old story about rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic comes to mind. Each group according to its means, but both lack any grasp of their actions’ futility.
Have you heard about the new cure for……….?
