Bull Shit! And When Not To!

Yes. There it is in one compact phrase. Be thou not disdainful of the truth when bull shit is not appropriate.

Well, lets figure this out. Ilearned to Bullshit in a masterful fashion on the stages of small coffeehouses where you offered up a lifetime of experiences as an intorduction to a song. You’d pull people into the song as you wove the introduction. At Rienzi’s Coffeehouse, or the Minetta Tavern, between sets,we’d swap techniques, modes of delivery, when to pause, wipe away a tear, and more. It was best if you didn’t drift too very far away from reality. But at eighteen really? How much had I seen and experienced? Well more than the average from the ‘burbs, but you know…B.S. is B.S.

What was something, a tip, that I’d like to pass along? Know when to stop. Give it up. and not resort to it. Just the straight scoop.

For instance like many people Juneteenth is new to me. Rather than BS my way through an explanation of what it is, and what it means it’s best to shut up, pay attention and learn.

Be thou not disdainful of the truth when bull shit is not appropriate.

Amen!

  1. Here’s what B.S. All those holidays line Columbus Day, President’s Day, and now Juneteenth when government employees get the day off and I don’t.

    1. I was a G12/7 for many years and i got those days off. But worked like hell to either get my work done before or catch up after. I frequently wondered what sense ther was when you abused people on either side.
