The Old Bookstore

Dust, decay, dead hopes, and possibility clung to the old books –vellichor. A crafted word needed because no other conveyed loss, decay, and totipotency. Strange mixture, totipotency, and decay.

I sat in the corner, musing on this dual nature of things forgotten and things waiting to be remembered.

  1. I love the last sentence particularly, how insightful. Things forgotten = things waiting to be remembered. Thanks for the food for thought! 🙂
