There is no use denying it. Everyone in the house has a personal library except the kittens and the dog. When my oldest son moved out, he took his with him, and we swear the house groaned in relief, but only temporarily. We hurried to fill the available space.
Mine comprises books on carving, maritime history, boat and ship design, and history. A single book on a topic would feel lonely, so give it the company of another dozen or so.
I am well known to the sellers of used books in my specialty areas and get their advertising every week. However, recently, I’ve had some concerns about the beams supporting the house and have cut back on new purchases.
Since reading and books are among my favorite activities, I’ve had to get crafty with my acquisitions. Thank goodness for E-Books!

I love books, too! At my church, we have a used book sale every year, so it is a good way to give overloaded bookcases a break (but also to bring home a few different books to freshen up my collections, lol.)
I just try to get rid of books. So, do you need any?
Ha Ha Ha! Good try, Martha!
Imagine cats with libraries! Youโve seen what psychopaths they are without them โฆ ๐ค
Yes, books like “how to drive your human crazy.”
Louis Catorze is on Volume 842 of that book.
