Boudoir in 56 words

She soon tired of me. I fell asleep right after, forgot to compliment her, and ate the bonbons. I think the snoring sealed it. She sat at her dresser, putting up her hair, and talked about yesterday’s trip to the salon. I wondered where supper was.

I was never invited back. Why? What had I done?
